How a wholesale order works
1 · Tell us the brief
Quantity, craft, deadline, branding. Photos of anything similar you have seen help enormously.
2 · Quote within 2 days
We send unit price at your quantity, tooling or setup costs if any, shipping options and a production window.
3 · Approve a sample
We make one piece and send photos, then ship the physical sample if you want to hold it.
4 · Production & delivery
50% deposit, production, quality photos before dispatch, balance, then tracked shipping.

We are a small studio, not a factory — which is exactly why brands come to us. Tell us what you need and we will reply within 2 business days with a quote, a production window and a sample plan. Every wholesale order is quoted by hand because the honest answer to "how much?" depends on the craft, the complexity, the quantity and how much of the work you want us to do.
Wholesale questions, answered
What is your minimum order?
20 pieces per design. You can mix designs and crafts in one order — many customers start with 20 Chanhua hairpins and 20 Ronghua blooms to test two ranges at once.
Can I order a sample first?
Yes, and we recommend it. Samples are charged at the single-unit retail price plus shipping; when you place the bulk order we credit half of the sample cost back.
Can you put my brand on the packaging?
Yes. We can print your logo on the box, add your branded care card and hang tag, and ship without any Silk Lineage markings. Send us your artwork as AI, PDF or PNG with transparent background.
How long does production take?
3–6 weeks after you approve the sample, depending on quantity and complexity. Peak season (August to November) books up early — tell us your deadline and we will confirm before you commit.
Do you offer certificates of authenticity?
Yes. Every wholesale order can include a printed certificate naming the craft, the technique and the artisan who made the pieces — useful for museum shops and heritage retailers.
What are the payment terms?
50% deposit to start production, 50% before dispatch. Payment by bank transfer (T/T) or PayPal. For orders above $10,000 we can discuss other arrangements.
Which countries do you ship to, and who pays customs?
We ship worldwide from China. We quote DDP (duties paid by us) and DDU (duties paid by you) so you can budget accurately — ask for both in your enquiry.
