Wedding & Bridal

Chinese wedding hair accessories, handmade in our studio in Guang'an, Sichuan. Chanhua (缠花) is dyed mulberry silk wound by hand, strand by strand, over a paper-and-wire frame — the craft behind traditional Chinese bridal ornaments.

Every piece here is sold two ways: as a finished piece ready to wear, or as a DIY kit with the materials and an English video tutorial, if you would rather make your own.

  • For the bride — hairpins for Chinese, hanfu and fusion weddings
  • For the bridal party — brooches and corsages in matching colors
  • For a handmade wedding — kits to make with your bridesmaids

Not sure where to start? Our guide to Chinese wedding hair accessories explains what is worn, when, and what each flower means.

Questions about Wedding & Bridal

Can these be worn for a Chinese wedding?

Yes. Chanhua hairpins are the traditional ornament for Chinese bridal hair, and they work just as well with a hanfu ceremony or a modern updo.

Is each piece sold finished, or only as a kit?

Both. Every product in this collection has two options on the product page — a finished piece ready to wear, or a material kit with dyed silk, wire, tools and an English video tutorial.

How far ahead should I order for a wedding?

Orders are dispatched within 3-5 business days and delivery usually takes 10-20 business days, so ordering four to six weeks ahead leaves room for any adjustment.

Can I order a set for my bridal party?

Yes. For more than a few pieces, send the details through the wholesale page and we will quote by hand.
