They are not large — these are chest flowers, not statement pieces.
Only 2 left in this batch — each piece is handmade.
SKU: CS-001
A matched pair: one corsage, one boutonniere, both finished.
Chanhua (缠花) is a Chinese folk craft: dyed velvet thread is wound, strand by strand, around a shaped copper-wire frame until a flower appears. It is three-dimensional and sculptural — closer to making a tiny sculpture than to sewing or embroidery.
The two pieces are made from the same thread and the same frames, so they read as a pair rather than as two flowers bought on different days. In a Chinese wedding the couple wears them on the chest, one each.

What you end up with
Two small finished pieces, made by hand as a set, in the colorway shown in the photographs. They are not large — these are chest flowers, not statement pieces.
If your wedding date is close, message me before ordering and I will tell you honestly whether seven days can be met.
On the chest. The corsage goes on the bride's dress or jacket, and the boutonniere goes on the groom's lapel — the way a wedding flower is normally worn.
Yes. Both pieces arrive assembled with the pin already on the back — there is nothing to glue or attach, and no tools are needed.
About 7 days. The set is made after you order, so the seven days are the making rather than the shipping. After that it goes out with tracking.
Message me with your date before you order and I will tell you honestly whether seven days is possible. I would rather say no than send it late.
They are small chest flowers rather than large statement pieces. Ask me and I will send the exact measurement of each one before you order.
Usually yes. Send me the colours and your date, and I will tell you whether there is time — a custom colourway can add a few days to the seven.

Made by hand, by a named maker

Hong红
Chanhua & Ronghua · maker · Guang'an, Sichuan
I'm Hong. I make Chinese silk flowers by hand in Guang'an, Sichuan — Chanhua and Ronghua, the two crafts my grandmother taught me over six years.
She is eighty-nine now and has made these flowers since she was a girl. I left the craft for an office job in Guangzhou, missed the quiet of making something with my hands, and came back. Now I do this full time, and every piece in this shop is wound by me.
